Approvals inbox
An approvals inbox is the human-in-the-loop surface of an agent control plane: the single place where actions agents may not take alone — breaking interface changes, deploys, irreversible operations — wait for a person to approve, reject, or answer.
The inbox inverts supervision. Instead of a human watching agents work, agents park exactly the decisions that need a human and continue with everything else. The operator reads a short queue, not a firehose.
For the gate to mean anything it must be enforced, not suggested: a gated change stays un-applied until the approval lands, and an agent's open question rides back into its context the moment it is answered.
